The Metrograph theater here in New York has been around for what, seven months now? And it's already an indispensable part of the movie obsessive's experience here in the city. I already can't imagine my life without it! This brief ballad o' affection has been brought to you by the news that they are showing George Cukor's The Marrying Kind this Friday -- the film is very funny (it was co-written by Ruth Gordon!) and Judy Holliday is very funny in it, but even more importantly it stars Aldo Ray running around in underpants for one long dream sequence that George Cukor no doubt spent several weeks perfecting.
