I stopped watching Downton Abbey around the time the maid got raped (whatever season that was) and so I don't know what ended up happening with Ed Speleers character, who as far as I remember was busy tormenting the gay footman at that time, but not in a sexy way sadly -- point being I don't know if he'll be showing up in the movie or not but it's not listed on his IMDb page so I'm guessing not.
