While this news isn't as exciting as the news that she's going to co-star opposite Kristen Stewart in a lesbian rom-com, it's still "hey Mackenzie Davis got another job!" news and we're here for it every damn time it happens. Mackenzie is going to star in Jon Stewart's upcoming political comedy Irresistible opposite Steve Carell as a strategist trying to get a dude elected mayor in a small Wisconsin town. One assumes that Carell plays said dude but the source isn't clear -- the film will also star Chris Cooper and Rose Byrne. That's a great cast already! Rose Byrne in another comedy -- huzzah! Anyway I never was the world's biggest Daily Show fan but I'm glad Jon Stewart's decided to reinsert his voice into the world. We could use all the help we can get.
