The Lobster, the new film from Dogtooth director Yogros Lanthimos, is finally out on May 13th after a long winding road to release -- I saw it way way back at the New York Film Festival in October and have been accosting strangers on the street about its offbeat majesty ever since. It is wonderful! I've seen it a couple of times since then, and it totally gets better with every viewing.

Absurd indeed, Olivia Colman. The movie's a wonderful absurdity, endlessly ridiculous in all the ways I adore.
