That there is the first official picture of Jake Gyllenhaal and Tatiana Maslany in Stronger, David Gordon Green's upcoming movie about the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013. (via) I've been doing a bad job keeping up with this movie - there have been lots of pictures of Jake filming around Boston while my ass is AWOL...
This caps off an altogether lousy several months for my Gyllen-obsession - I never got around to seeing Demolition when it was in theaters, either. That might mark the first time that's happened since Brothers came out in 2009. (I've actually never gotten around to seeing Brothers, if you can believe that.)
That there's a picture of Jake meeting with the real-life dude he's playing named Jeff Bauman, who as you can see lost both of his legs in the bombing. His image is one of the iconic ones from that horrible day. The film's based on Bauman's autobiography - any of you read it? I guess what he remembered seeing was integral to finding the bombers.
