It's the 30th anniversary of one of the greatest action movies ever made, James Cameron's Aliens. Back on April 26th, on the newly commissioned "Alien Day," I watched a screening here in New York with Sigourney Weaver herself -- read my write-up here if you missed it. Anyway I kind of feel as if we already celebrated this anniversary with that, but we can hardly let it go unremarked upon, it being one of our very favorite movies, so let's talk about all the hot marines in it because duh.
I'm sure I'm projecting but I always get a gay vibe from this moment in the film as the marines wake up from cryo -- Private Spunkmeyer (yes the furry dude's name is SPUNKMEYER) is totally checking out Private Frost as he walks by, right? Anyway they're my pretend gay couple in the film.
But speaking specifically of Private Frost (played by Rico Ross) he's clearly one of the hottest second-tier Marines, alongside my second-choice Lieutenant Gorman (played by William Hope), so I must ask...
