The Tiniest Swashbuckler

I mean no offense when I call attention to Gael Garcia Bernal's height (or lack thereof) - some of my best friends are short people! Not that there's anything wrong with that! (Sorry I'm just seeing how many 90s expressions of inadvertent offense I can cram into this post.) Anyway itty bitty adorable Gael is going to star in a new Zorro movie -- called simply Z, the film will be written and directed by Alfonso Cuaron's son Jonás and it will be set in the near future, where they apparently have no use for extraneous letters.

I guess that Gael & Jonás get along because they already have a film called Desierto out later this year about a border crossing -- it co-stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan with a big beautiful gray beard...
